Doctoral research investigating the integration of sustainability metrics into AI-driven autonomous chemical discovery systems. Proposes a computational framework that embeds green chemistry objectives directly into optimization architectures, comparing yield-only, multi-objective, and uncertainty-weighted configurations to evaluate how sustainability-aware decision-making changes molecular candidate selection and system robustness.

Characterized the engineering properties and pore structure of lightweight aggregates manufactured from waste coal combustion fly ash using a thermodynamics-guided sintering process. Investigated specific gravity, water absorption, porosity, pore size distribution, and permeability using X-ray computed tomography and dynamic vapor sorption analysis.

Evaluated the effectiveness of soy methyl ester-polystyrene (SME-PS) blend as a concrete protectant against calcium oxychloride formation caused by calcium chloride deicing salts. Demonstrated over 90% reduction in destructive phase formation and developed a modified Fick's second law model for predicting deterioration depth profiles.
